I graduated from Marist College back in 2008. While I was there I worked both as a Desktop Technician (2004-mid 2007) and as a Systems Administration Intern for IBM at the Marist/IBM Joint Study program (mid 2007 – graduation). Both of those jobs were pretty awesome. They afforded me a lot of freedom to play with technologies that I’d never touched before and taught me a lot. I would value the experience from those two positions more than 90% of the classes that I took. I also graduated with both a CCNA and CCNP (Cisco Certifications) due to having an absolutely incredible professor in network technologies, Robert Cannistra.
Currently I’m employed at a financial software company in Connecticut as a Corporate Support Engineer. I also freelance on the side a bit when time allows.
